Did some Yahoo searching, as you suggested, on the Jesus Seminar. It was just as you said (and just as my wife remembered reading about it, also). They are operating in the same spirit as the ones who told the guards to lie about the stone being moved, "Saying, say ye, His disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept." Matt 28:13
And the same spirit that inspired the chief priests to say to Pilate, "Write not, The King of the Jews, but that he said, I am King of the Jews." Jn 19:21
