Wow!! Everyone sure spooks pretty easily around here. Look, I'm sure Darrell doesnt have any info that the rest of don't have. I have an inkling that Fidelity, Soros, ect probably have better sources of info than we do. The Nomai situation is nothing new. Funds have been adding IOM. Go take a peek at Dale Velk's site to ease your fears. Looks like institutional ownership is growing. I would venture a guess that Fidelity and folks know the Nomai situation, and if we can take their actions of 3Q purchases as a barometer, they don't seem overly frightened by the situation. IOM has been behaving really well as of late. It is in a strong upward trend and is garnering more and more support as they go along. Is Nomai a threat? Maybe, but I'm not overly concerned. Just look at IOM disk sales compared to Sony, Fuji and Maxell. According to the company(this was stated in a prior CC I believe) IOM branded disks have been doing very well in relation to the other "branded' disks, even though the others have a price advantage. IOM is in a commanding market position. Nomai is a bush league player compared to IOM. The game they play is one of trying to strong arm companies out of their proprietary property IMO. It may have worked against SYQT, but IOM isnt SYQT. I'm not trying to berate Darrell, but my money is going where the big money is going. And at this time $$ are flowing into IOM. I've owned this stock for better than 2 years and will not sell now because of a tiny little french company that can only survive by stealing the ideas of others. Just my 2cents.
