Thanks for that C2. Very interesting. One of the great benefits of having complete genomes determined is that racism can become scientific again. We won't have fools like the Nazis with their wacky ideas doing really stupid things. Imagine how many Albert Einstein quality people they murdered. It was probably the worst thing that has ever happened to humanity. Imagine no Google, no Qualcomm, no all the other things created from nowhere by people who Adolf and co thought should be murdered.

Eugenics will be able to be done properly. Women at present do eugenics but it's largely guesswork for them and many are shocked when they experience the full expression of the dna of the bloke they mistakenly committed to. Women need help. They need good, scientific help, so they can eliminate undesirable dna and propagate good stuff.

The Flynn Effect saw dramatic improvements in the 20th century. The 21st century should see hyperFlynn. Not only will women be able to eliminate the bad stuff, they'll be able to swap mediocre brain function for supersonic designs. It would be great to have had a powerful brain that could do everything easily, with barely opening a text book on 3rd order partial differential equations. Calabi Yau equations would be like playing Freecell. With Google as a memory source, Siri to run the show, and one of those hyperFlynn brains, life would be a doddle.

People will be able to claim racial identity down to microcosm sizes and get taxpayer benefits for being minorities needing largess from producers. The divisions could be as small as people want to make their race, all the way down to a single individual [I guess we all have individual mutations lurking in our dna but perhaps mutations that are handed on don't arise in every individual].

In the case of those genes you linked to, there are only a few thousand members so they are small enough to hold a jamboree with all attending.

Complete Genomics is going to enable all of that, as well as all the medical treatments and lifestyle changes and whatnot for personal improvement. The 21st century should be very interesting.
