I expect there'll be more to this story. I'm only getting tidbits from neighbors. The tensions are getting more intense because the election is a month away.

I had some busybodies plant some election signs in my front yard. I'm across the street from the polling place, so it's an ideal spot. I waited until they finished - they'd planted 6 posters, then I went and collected them and brought them inside. They saw me. They started hammering on my door, yelling that I'd stolen their signs and threatening to call the police. I said please do, because I would be happy to bring trespassing charges against them. The signs were for council members running for office. I didn't have a problem with the people running, it was that they didn't ask me if they could plant their signs.

I expect they'll be back with eggs.
