Seems curious that Brazil has such high import tariffs, but apparently no equivalent duties on the goods in airline travelers' luggage. Must be the inefficient bureaucracy. :o) From the article comments... I,m an American and travel to Brazil often. When I go I'll take a couple of iPads or a couple of lap tops, sell them when I get there and pay for my whole trip. I still have money left over when I get back.
