Re: I thought over the weekend why GM may want to pick the MMC instead of other types of flash as there is plenty of room in an automobile to put a larger flash card like a CF. I just come up with an answer that people like to carry their own MMC in their wallet for instance, and when they get into a car, they like to pop their MMC into a device that reads the MMC to retrieve the data. For instance, I could have map or phone numbers of friends in my own MMC. Then I could use a rental car but have my own MMC. And also, you can have your seat and back mirror positions remembered on that MMC card. James Choi
