Wrong. I'm talking about the 5.3" Galaxy Note with 1280x800 and 290dpi. It exists and it blows the iCRAP away. So the technology exists. Just cut a 10.6" size glass instead of 5.3" and you have 2560x1600 at 290dpi. Samsung makes the best displays for a reason. Cause their fabs are second to none. Sharp is garbage next to Samsung. The only reason is not out yet cause you need the Exynos 5250 to drive such a display (unlike the junk A5X that iLAG has). And that's coming Q2 (April-June) quarter.
