Is you buy back a CC in say AAAA for a lose and then quickly sell a CC in BBBB is that a "wash sale" (for AAAA) ?

Also, my stock MACR closed friday at $10 and my covered calls were MACR Nov10. However, my broker says I have to wait till monday to know if they were yanked from me. Does that sound right ? I wasn't called at the close friday, so why would I have to sweat out the weekend ?

PS: I'm not a lamb but I've never had my CCs end at the strike price before.
Anyone ever have the same luck ?
