Wrong. You apparently see and hear only what you want to believe.

The article specifically states where the numbers come from. Whether that firm buys them from someone else or develops the data internally is unclear. Either way, the Yankee Group has a superlative record and is very highly regarded.

Concerning Chambers and the conference call, I do not recall that he did make the statement you claim but I do remember that Chambers, when pressed to name competitors he worries about, did not mention BAY.

The whole point of the article was that BAY's stock got way ahead of the real story: which was that while BAY had shown it was not dead, it still had not proven itself through execution to be able to compete with Cisco, which has continued to take share from BAY, "revived" or not.

Anyway, I think we can agree that the market will determine who is right.

Actually, I think it's been telling us for some time now.
