Marcia!!!! Where have you been? I feared that you had moved on to something less controversial, or just got tired of the baloney, or lost the faith due to falling share prices. It makes me smile to know you're still here, although I am feeling a little sheepish that you're witnessing this awful display of poor manners and childish namecalling. But I'm kinda glad, too, because I think you see what's going on here. Gosh, I've never seen you so passionate in any post.
"Only a woman"? You are our equal in every way, Marcia, and a lot smarter than some others. You hit the nail right on the head. Lots of questions thrown at me, but few answers to questions of my own. I even took a leap of faith by challenging AR to prove his identity if I were willing to prove mine. The challenge was purely rhetorical, because I KNEW what the answer would be. Now there's zero doubt in my mind about AR's intentions -- to hurt AGTI and its shareholders for his own personal gain. Either a short, or maybe worse. Maybe we've been "sleeping with the enemy". What a grand way to gain competitive intelligence, rather James Bond-ish.
I've witnessed other "shorts" at work in SI, such as the illustrious Johnnie W. Do everything in their power to shake shareholder confidence and discourage new investors. But at least Johnnie W. makes no pretense about his intentions. He's a short and admits it, and is almost funny at times. But the other, more sinister tactic is probably far more effective. Pretty rotten, and on a Sunday besides.
