As far as Westwood making a comeback, I agree very much. Santa Monica is so crowded these days that there is no longer any parking. I think we will see more people return to Westwood once they see how nice and convenient the new parking structure is. They really need to make up their mind, though, with the area behind Macy's before they get irritated and decide to close that location.

One idea I have is actually an idea an ex-girlfriend of mine had. That would be to open a restaurant with a fire station theme with servers dressed in firemen uniforms and having firedrills and such. I've seen the idea done really poorly many years ago, but the idea is to get groups of women into the restaurant to check out all of the men in uniform. I think it would do really well in Westwood. I am not sure if the Westwood association would approve, but I think it could do quite well if fully exploited and developed.

Good luck!
