FTJoe,

I think I may have this insider thing straight in my mind now. Having access to insider information is not illegal, providing insider information is also, strickly speaking, not illegal. Trading on the basis of insider information is! That simple.

So, alot of this talk about who "leaked" this or that is not the issue. Only those that may have traded on the basis of some of that information may have, technically, violated the law. Tough time proving that one, IMHO.
