Are you suggesting that the bit of friction currently existing in the GOP between the candidates will cause the GOP to lose to Obama?

Are you suggesting that the GOP voters who supported various of the GOP candidates will not coalesce to defeat Obama?

I don't see what is occurring today as very different from the Obama-Clinton run up a few years back.

What I see is that those in the GOP elite(and the pretenders) worry that their choice of candidate will not get anointed thereby causing a GOP loss against Obama.

Not likely in my view. People are too ticked at Obama policies and will, like in 2010, vote to move him and other democrats out of office.
