Are you suggesting....

I am suggesting that Gingrich no longer has a viable path to the nomination and should withdraw. His role as a candidate at this point only serves selfish objectives. It sort of validates what I have thought about Gingrich all along.

those in the GOP elite

The GOP so-called "elite" are never really defined. Being called "elite" seems to be just a modern put-down or attempt at an insult. I guess it is people like John Bolton and the many others that are making endorsements. Shame on them for expressing thier views <g>. The fact remains that the GOP nominee will be the candidate that gets the most raw votes and gathers the most delegates during the primary process. The person that gets the raw votes and the delegates is the choice of the party, not the choice of the elites.
