The last couple years, I've had nothing but good experiences coming back to the States from Canada. Last August I crossed just north of Glacier National Park. All the guy asked me was "what'd you buy? everything on the bike yours?" Then he said "welcome back." Getting into Canada, on the other hand, has become such a PITA that I'm considering not going any more. Last time It was 54 questions, most of them focused on gun ownership. It might be they are harassing American border crossers in retaliation for treatment Canadians are getting from US Customs.
