wow....

my experience has been the total complete OPPOSITE....

when we drove into canada, the border agent was extremely polite, did not hassle us, just asked 'what's in the cooler'...(we told her and she didn't even look inside)

when we returned to the states through port angeles, the border control agent was an arrogant and dismissive freak....she asked us all sorts of personal questions (like what are YOU doing with someone from different STATE? really????) and took our vehicle apart looking for 'contraband'

she had a total 'attitude' problem and we just sat there 'eyes forward' because she was so obnoxious....

my biggest concern was bringing in seeds from butchart gardens (which were clearly marked and sealed by the garden)....oh and the u.s. border patrol agent was making it look like a potential federal crime....her attitude was just nazi-esque...no joke

i guess it really does down to 'which gov't F$A creep' you end up with<gg>
