Perhaps this was unique but thought I'd pass it along for what it's worth. In a conversation with a store manager for Office Max the other day regarding a couple of computers I was looking at for the office, he remarked that it was the higher end machines that he had trouble keeping in stock, not the low end ones. Made me wonder just how much of a dent this low end machine choice will make on someone like Micron. With the price pressure on the high end computers as it is, I'm not convinced yet that a lot of people won't opt for them at a $2K price rather than the obsolete off the self models for $1K. We'll see in the next couple of quarters I guess.
