Well, I'll concede that it is entirely possible that I have developed a bias. After all, that's entirely human to do so. However, I do spend a lot of time looking for clues as to whether we are recovering or not for real or whether there is a cliff we're headed over. I care, because I want to make sure I make the right investment decisions. I generally don't let my politics coincide with my investment decisions. So when I share my opinions on the economy, it is from that perspective. Of course, I also care longer term, because of the prosperity that we leave behind or don't for our children.
