(off topic, but I bet somebody here has my answer........... :--) ) The wife and I went out shopping this morning to one of the largest self-protection stores in the area, but far enough out from civilization that no games needed to be played, as I'm doing with this note for the government search bots. I thought I was all set for nice thirty-eight, but we fell in love after some wise recommendations with a glorious twelve gauge. One guy read me pretty well, and wondered why I was not looking at the fully automatic assault beauties. I told him that he was right, but I'm too cheap. Does anybody think a run of the mill Remington 870 is too wimpy?
