Good evening Jim, The info coming out on APAT appears to be satisfactory to most folks... I'm rather surprised that there hasn't been a "normal" retrace of at least half the recent run-up. But apparently there are sufficient buyers to pick up any available stock around the $8 level. My strategy continues to be one emphasizing a very large (for me) cash position, getting ready to establish some selective new short positions to take advantage of (hoped-for) tax selling. However, Have NO plans to short APAT, and don't understand what the logic would be to do so. Thanks for the continuing updates on APAT developments, visits, etc., Jim. I consider that a real service to those "interested in APAT", as the thread is labeled. I imagine the breaks in the weather are fairly few for you these days. Not to be unpleasant about it, but we have been enjoying excellent golf weather. With a major remodeling project ongoing, I haven't taken advantage of every opportunity, but the game is starting to fall into place. I found I must use more club (MUCH more club) than I used to, but that's the price one pays. The days of the 150-yard 7-iron appear to be history. We will play 18 on the local course Tuesday, then go to Valley International CC on Saturday. The following week we will do River Bend CC at the very tip of Texas. You can literally hit it out of the country down there (and I have done so). Have taken your advice to hit em straight, Jim, and have started getting some 9's in the 30's again... Hope you're taking your own advice. Cheery regards, Duane "The Saintly One" |
