Is there anything written about his mother's alzheimers?

Perhaps it concentrated his own mind to realize that he might
be a candidate for alzheimers disease and subject to the treatment
that he advocated.

One thing I can say about people with alzheimers they struggle
to hold onto their dignity.

One thing they rarely forget is how to sing---------I have played
at nursing homes -------when I play a song that they know, they smile
and sing and relax. Knowing that they have for a few moments
had an enjoyable moment in their day is rewarding.
