"I wouldn't be so sure of CSCO not buying a TMN company.
Just remember that they own a stake in OSI."

Double negatives Marcil. What's your original
language?..:)

Cisco won't buy them at this time but like I said if
TMN takes off Vertel could be bought by a host of
the players. The switch mfgs, HP, Lucent, ATT. Really
any big player in telcom would see them as highly
valuable if they emerge the marketshare leader along
with HP/Openview.

The price will be well north of 20. Probably 30 if
this happens. Not trying to start a rumor just
fast forwarding 12 months from now if all goes
their way. Alot of execution has to be done between
now and then by Brown and Co. but the potential
is there. Look at the downside as being Vertel
being bought by someone(HP) at 5 bucks a share
if RETX runs out of cash shorterm. If they sell
off Sonoma and get the cash to rev up Vertel the
value could well be $30bucks. Sure sounds like
a good risk/reward equation.
