Something different? < Nokia is widely expected to launch an own tablet using Microsoft's Windows 8 software later this year. > That would be a little mirasol screen 4 inch x 6 inch, with that swanky new PureView, with Snapdragon/Krait, at the very high end, making iPad look like a child's toy. Many of the Anita [tm] components should be included. Maybe as options like cars - standard model, then add all the bells and whistles as the budget and interest allows.

The basic model would be a skinny little thing, and optioned models could be thick, and thicker with bonus battery life too.

I'd want a usb port in it because my printer is not a wifi machine.

A wireless keyboard option would be good. A Globalstar option would be good too. iPad doesn't do coverage in the Outback. Nokia could. A specifically outdoors DeVice for PEOPLE WHO MEAN BUSINESS [TM]. People like to buy 4 wheel drive Remuera Tractors [SUVs for city slickers] so they can go off-road, which they never do. They would like to pop one of those in their purse/gay bag. Photovoltaics around the edge and on the back. It could charge other devices.

It should of course be a beach-safe piece of equipment, able to be rained on and even briefly submerged. Maybe that usb port isn't really necessary on all models, and a wifi link to printing would be okay via another computer. Send the data to a wired computer.

Maybe it's not yet time to write off Nokia.
