Roy, so far so good. Thanks! You're welcome! Is that after applying the combo updater, or just booting up with extensions off? It's still slow but it doesn't sound like a jet taking off anymore. Glad the fans have calmed down. Tell me about the slowness, is it all the time in all applications, including the Finder? If so, open up the Activity Monitor (it's in Applications/Utilities/), sort the list by %CPU and tell me what is at the top and how much CPU it's using. If the slowness is only happening only when using a web browser, let me know that too. Also, how much RAM do you have in that Mini?
