One cannot say that anything is just a human convention , like all other creatures we are shaped & molded by that surrounding envirionment and internal needs & reality of living in our chosen habitats . Where you get right to attach "non binding" onto this for the sake of weaving straw into gold , is beyond me . If the will to survive & self procreate has any binding quality to it which obviously it does universally , to care for & seek to sustain one's immediate family or tribe or nation , how do you get from these overwhelming imperatives to non binding ?

Think for a change , about what is too obvious .
