Re: competition
What do you think of the psychological impact on all the folks who shop at Border's/ Waldens/ Brentano's will have on Border's stock once they see the online site (given that it's a decent site, and better than BKS) God knows they've had enough models to look at!. Border's has a huge following in the malls and superstores, their fundamentals and stock have been strong.. I think they will get a boost from store clients itching to invest. BKS may have been benefited from store traffice clients, but I'll bet Borders gets the bigger boost. It's like politics and a dark horse. As much as I believed in Amazon and wanted to be part of it, it went off the sheets for us fundamentalists. So I may go ahead and put my money with Borders and I'll bet a lot of other folks do too.
