It's also why more and more people WITH insurance are going abroad because they STILL can't afford procedures with their deductibles. Bumrungrad is a well known and regarded hospital center in Bangkok Thailand that gets it's share of these pilgrims. Just for grins I checked out a couple of their prices. Heart surgery that I'm guessing probably costs 250k here is 16k there... AND they have a Starbucks in their lobby <ggg>..
