Yeah you are right. I was thinking pads not phones. Still the same paradigm though.

Microsoft's commercial OS has to compete with free Android. Sort of like Android pad makers have to compete with Amazon pads. Just a bar brawl at the low end. The computer business is like no other.

In my business and I'm sure yours, profit margin is what we need. In most big businesses cash flow wins over profit margin. Apple just turned that idea on its head, but not without a struggle.
