Re: AIMing individual stocks.....................

I've gotten out of the habit of trading company stocks over the last decade or there about. Most of my time has been put into building portfolios of exchange traded funds instead of picking stocks. However, I still track and trade AMTD as seen below:

{SAFE = 10% on the buy and sell sides, Min. Trade = 10% of shares or 10% of Portfolio Control - whichever is the larger value)

Since starting this account in late 2008, Buy/Hold would have a 54% gain right now. With AIM's help that has increased to 64%. Each cycle seems to help with the lead AIM is taking.

I'll be making a small incremental Sell trade when the next target price is reached. The whole market has been 'in a trading range' including AMTD. I usually buy or sell 5% to 10% of the position when trading. Usually I trade 10%, but when the Cash Reserve gets close to the maximum I will allow, then I'll trade just 5% to keep the Equity/Cash balance close to my target.

Anyway nice to see it back closing in on last year's high.

Best regards, Tom
