All - I've received a complaint via PM about the off-topic posts that have become an increasingly large part of our conversation here. The person lodging the complaint has not posted here, to my knowledge. I don't know if he or she has been reading the board for a long time or not. (I mention that fact only to head off a guessing game about who ratted us out. :-)) As I explained to him (It's most likely a male), I have always felt it best to allow the conversation to roam where it will here, as long as people adhere to the guidelines. I'm not inclined to change my moderating style with regard to this, and I realize I am as guilty of going off-road here as anyone. Nonetheless, I thought I should mention this person's concerns to everyone. I'm interested in knowing if anyone else has found the dinner party atmosphere and the rambling nature of our ongoing conversation to be a problem. Though I suppose we've probably long since chased off anyone who might not like OT posts. We're getting some new readers lately, so maybe this is something we should think about. Please feel free to discuss this matter either here in the forum or by PM to me. - Allen
