It was plugged into the wall charger.

By the way, LTE (AT&T) is a unbelievably fast, but the iPad does eat up the mb,gb, etc. I will have to watch it in the future. AT&T and Verizon are the winners here due to the fact they don't subsidize the iPad, yet charge a lot of money for only a few gb per month. Maybe it's helps counteract the iPhone costs (just a thought).
