Carol,
My apologies for jumping in the middle of your debate. I haven't been keeping up with this thread, so I was just putting an "amen" to Cisco's post. I have a very good friend of mine who has been studying Creationism, Gap, Evolution...etc. I see in his life how much time that he has wasted in this endevour. He's taken time away from spreading God's word to people who are in need of it, by being encompassed by this subject. We will never have all the answers till we see God in heaven and we probaly won't care then.
As a geologist I tend to lean towards theistic evolution, but all that really matters to me is that He did it, it didn't happen by chance.
So what do I see as important? Spreading the good news that Jesus Christ died for sinners, is the most important thing I know.
In Christ,
Paul |
