As I understand, some of the outrage is because he is still out free and he has received death threats. And the police is just standing by!!!!

The outrage is that a 17 year teen.......by all accts, a normal middle class kid..........is dead, and all because of an assinine law that turns vigilantes like Zimmerman into pseudo cops. 911 and the cops told Zimmerman to leave the boy alone.......he chose to pursue. This isn't the first outrage under this law..........a 40 year old father of two is dead because a neighbor didn't want a kid skateboarding in the local playground where the father was playing b-ball with his daughter. The father and he got into an argument over the issue and then started wrestling with each other. That's when the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot the father. Under this law, we're returning to the wild wild west.

Another example of American exceptionalism?
