Michael, don't believe we've met...but I couldn't resist responding to someone with a reasonable technical background who still believes that GSM will win out over CDMA... Could you share the basis for your assessment? CDMA proponents point out that Qualcom was able to grow from vitually nothing, against much larger, well-entrenched competitors based on its development and licensing of "superior technology"--CDMA. Tests appeared to indicate both higher quality signal and more signals per given bandwidth. As I rode that story to a reasonable profit in QCOM, did I earn my money under false pretenses? <g> dlo
