I was not going share this with ya'll but my skydiving 20 year young grandson named Michael needs prayers.

He has had 2 invasive brain procedures already this week. Tomorrow he will have an approximately 8 hour brain surgery that will require removing a grape fruit size portion of his rear skull for the surgery.

In the past week, he has lost his peripheral vision permanently and also over 30% total vision. The latter may get better and may get worse tomorrow.

He is strong, brave, and ready for tomorrow.

I met with him and his wife today. She is a SP/4 in the army reserves. She is strong, cool, very smart, very computer savvy, very thoughtful, tough but not ruthless, beautiful, and loves and looks after Michael every moment. I am really glad she and Michael are married. It is real easy to want to help her. They have a 4 month old daughter.

Michael wanted to learn skydiving and 2.5 years ago asked me to teach him. Instead I sent him to the training facility used by Special Forces and the Golden Knights just outside of Ft Bragg. He made over 200 jumps with them and 291 total.

Today Michael's Green Beret skydiving buddies in Fayetteville delivered a check for $500.00 to them in hospital and promised more. I share that only so you know how much respect others have for Michael.

We need nothing and ask for nothing other than prayers for Michael.

Thank You,
unclewest
