Heavenly Father,
You, above all, know the needs of Michael, his wife, his child and his extended family. We pray that you would be with them all over these next important days, and beyond. Be with Michael as he undergoes his surgery tomorrow. Keep him in the shadow of your hand. Provide him calm in his heart, confidence in his surgeon, and strength to endure and recover, according to your will. Guide the surgeon’s hands, using his skills to perform the surgery to the best of his ability. Be with Michael's caregivers as he recovers. May they recognize, understand and see to his needs.
And as the healing process begins, we ask that you would provide Michael and his loved ones the strength, peace and comfort that only you can, both tomorrow, and in the days and weeks that follow.
We thank you for your goodness and grace in all circumstances, especially in trials such as this.
