Looks like he is playing it safe with Berk and L and adding a few spices with sd and most likely bac. I am looking to get into L but I am going to try my luck on Berk and wait a little longer. Buying IBM stock and him explaining IBM buying back stock is good but Buffet buying Berk @ current levels is bad gets my blood pressure up. What he is saying is IBM is a better value, I see that IBM is a play on emerging markets and allows him to use a good chunk of change, but that is a turnoff to someone like me that is trying to make money with his company so I need a few months to recover. I personally would choose HPQ over IBM right now as a value play in the tech space. XCO went below 7 again today started buying what I sold. This has to be the 6th time or so this year on that name I got the chance to add back I hope the market lets me do it many more times. Today I underperformed the market even with 35% cash and a levered short SRTY that was a 7% position. I lost 1.61% today while the market only lost .72% mostly due to my largest holding MBI and commodity positions getting spanked. I guess you figured out I got my desktop back because I am throwing out percents again, I had all I can take with that laptop. I tell family and friends I hope I lose all my investment on SRTY and they look @ me like I am crazy, but I hope I do because most likely my portfolio will be up much more than that 7% it is just protection if the market goes down like it did a few years ago I am a scaredy cat.
