without independent voters, any potential campaign is sunk before it begins....the RR needs to understand that the republicans need a coalition of independents, libertarian leaning voters , the RR, and the tea party, i contend that you cannot win the independents and libertarians with with the so-called 'social conservatives' (nice sounding code for the religious right wing, i.e, evangelicals, fundamentalists) as the candidate
those who insist on the social agenda litmus test and refuse to support ANY republican nominee, even the 'not one of us' aka mormon, should really just get out, and form their own religious political party and stop trying to play 'spoiler' for the republican party.....good luck with that in the secular society in which we now live |
