Absolutely agree with the flat tax idea

No deductions and all income must be classed as income

No special income categories like "inheritance", "capital gains" or any other designation to differentiate one persons income as somehow being different than anothers, and therefore subject to a preferential tax treatment

Of course in the US this will never happen until we get term limits as both parties survive by playing tax payer classes against each other

And term limits will require a full blown Constitutional Convention, again it will be impossible to get that past the superannuated professional whores who make up the US Congress
