That is a tough issue.. on one hand university is not for everyone.. and it is not only about intelligence.. In my own family I can roll off a bunch of successful folks that did exceedingly well without .. OTOH we get stuck with 'educated' dopes that are well connected and only got through on money... fine.. but then they are in charge.. Agree though it's not a right... and I have zero boohoos for the loan issue.. My wife had a huge loan after two degrees and I a small one.. we paid them all off within maybe eight years and managed to buy a townhouse to boot. BTW my rather nice neighborhood is filled with successful tradesmen... If schools were doing there job Parent's job too... that is often missed..
