You seem to be suggesting that a citizen cannot prevent his own murder. Until the murder actually occurs, the crime has not been committed.

His only recourse is to prosecute the crime only after the crime happens.

Your view accurately reflects the liberal view of crime and victims.

Now, I am troubled by the Zimmerman situation. In Arizona, we have had several such incidents over the past several years (without the race element). I am uncomfortable with the outcome of these events.
