Anyone else read the WSJ 11/17/97 article, "Chip, Software Giants Don't Rule Joystick of Graphics" ? It suggest that neither Intel nor Mircosoft are at this time "dominating the business (3D graphics) with its own products." It notes that expectations existed regarding that 3D chip from Lockheed Martin/Chips & Technology Inc. But where is it ? According to the article (very good indeed, worth looking for) the big boys are watching as others weigh in with their 3D chips/boards. Now I haven't been following the movements of Intel nor Microsoft but according to the article both have 3D chip theories (chip designs too ?) and hasn't Intel proposed a buy of Chips&Tech. ? But according to the article thats on review. Anyway, to me the article suggest a delay in 3D chip from the big guys. How could that delay, if it really is a delay, affect MCRE stock price ? Got me. But I wonder if the two add up ? Any thoughts ?
