It is contagious because it is actually spread by people you used to be able to trust, namely teachers, professors, and journalists. They spread the disease and work very hard at it. The evil ones at the top must be buying all their newspapers and magazines and donating money by the boatload to teacher unions and paying for all kinds of professorship research grants in order to keep the virus alive. But that money just comes from paying interest on the debts for money they create out of nothing.
