Do you see how easy it is for people to assume a certainty which is actually based on very slim knowledge? He forgets that we are like ants on an ant hill and that the "universe" may be expanding into the UNIVERSE which is an atom in the ZOG.
Here is an old question: If something is thought to be everything but is still thought to be finite....then what keeps a bear warm? And what keeps the river or the ocean from draining away?
No responsible scientist believes the universe (even the myopic universe glimpsed by us) started as nothing! There are a few religious wackos who impose that premise to argue that "God" was ALWAYS and started making things from nothing after living forever and ever--who knows why?! And why something with two legs and an ass and two arms and hands and a nose that smelled and enjoyed oh so much the smell of burning flesh (all these things and many more which the bible (written by God) states!)--why this thing that always was should have had this strange appearance...well--NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE THE ANSWER TO THAT!!
Picture this character floating in nothing for ever and ever! This grotesque thing with arms and legs and openings to evacuate and to eat. Eat WHAT?? Blank out?! :-)
Could have been a PERFECT circle! Could have been a triangle! But the thing that always was was a grotesque creature! Did it ever wonder: WHY AM I LIKE THIS!!! :-)
