I went over to Cupertino last evening for a handbell concert at a church there. I hadn't been in Cupertino for several years since moving from western San Jose (not far from Cupertino). I was shocked at seeing a whole strip mall in this affluent community where we stopped for coffee that had more stores with names written in Asian/Oriental than in English. On the other hand, if you go over to east San Jose, you will see more Mexican store names than English. It seems like the more recent influx of all races, don't want to "melt," they want to change the face of America to fit their culture, language and traditions. What is tragic, is that "we" have allowed it -- actually encouraged it -- to our own destruction. I don't think any other country in the world, except perhaps some in Western Europe, allow that to happen.
