Nothing gets done unless there is a person who can sell the idea to the public. There is an article in the WSJ this weekend of how the Democrat Secretary of the Treasury in Rhode Island sold pension reform. It is an amazing story. Sadly, I think it will take a Democrat to sell the needed reforms to the nation as any Republican will be demonized by the leading Democrats who "purport to care" - but really don't give a crap about anything but power.
