Report: More Movies Will Be Streamed Than Watched On Disc In 2012 That's a no brainer. Between the time it takes me to get, see, mail back and get a new disk via mail, I stream countless ones. Obviously, being what I consider to be an average Netflix subscriber, I am not the only one. Streaming is definitely the future of movies. My kid is not willing to wait for a disk, at all. Period.
