ponokee - I believe everything that is written on the Internet <GGGG> only a little side comment - the article has no proof that what was written is authentic to the truth and things are not as exaggerated as posted. Indeed prices of diamonds even high "quality cut" fluctuate as anything else depending on demand and supply not much different that let say RE in NYC. Fact is that many banks do take polished diamonds as security for loans they make and those loans amount to billions of $$
