First we need to reduce our carbon footprint. Everyone knows that.

Let me make this clear and simple. The only way to substantially reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere would be to end modern civilization. Period. To pretend that windmills and solar panels and other such inefficient pipe dreams can substitute for carbon based energy is just so much nonsense and blather and politically motivated BS..

If (and emphasize "if") increased levels of atmospheric CO2 does contribute to an increase in global temps, then you and the rest of the world had better get used to it, because all the touchy, feely, economy throttling green non solutions won't make one iota of difference..
