Currently a T1 trading halt for AAFY, an event that started at around 11:47 am. News was posted by the DJ news wire that their peptide ESA was approved by the FDA, but no news release by either the agecy or the sponsor. Midnight trader also reported it on the FIDO news service of ATP. A T1 trading halt if memory serves is for pending news, yet the FDA approval statement was made. So more news? rkrw and I speculated a while back that AFFY would be ripe for a takeover by partner upon or after approval. My thoughts were revised when Takeda did not pursue regulatory approval of 'Omontys' in Japan.
